Capstone English Center AGENTS

Agent Information

Are you an educational advisor or a language travel agent? If so, Capstone English Mastery Center is interested in arranging a partnership with you. Capstone is always looking for referral agents to help promote our unique, economical, high quality English language services worldwide. Regardless of where in the world you are located, or whether you are a one person agency, or your agency is very large - we are interested in working with you.

Why should you choose to refer students to Capstone?

We are a small, private school, part of a small nonprofit organization. Our services are Individualized.

This means personalized attention for your students! We are not a large, impersonal chain school that treats students like numbers. Every student has a supervising instructor, with whom there will be several private tutorials each and every week. Even our small group sessions average only 6 or 7 students per teacher, ensuring that every student not only has the opportunity, but the expectation that they will participate! We know each of our students by name and we are always here to help them - regardless of what the issue might be. This makes your job as an agent worry-free.

    Our Faculty

Capstone instructors are native English speakers with an average of nearly 15 years as ESL Instructors. All have lived overseas extensively, for an average of nearly 10 years, and also have experience learning at least one foreign language themselves. Several have earned Master's degrees in TESOL or a related field. Students you refer to Capstone will undoubtedly benefit from this accumulation of cultural and linguistic knowledge and experience.

    Our Students

Most students at Capstone English Center are studying to pass TOEFL for college or university entrance, but many also study to pass TOEIC for job advancement. Many more study English for personal improvement. We would like to say that every student is very serious about improving their English. Sadly, some are not, but merely want a long-term vacation in the U.S. We much prefer the former. We are looking for agents who will refer serious students to us.

Our Individualized curriculum is designed to adapt to students' abilities, interests, and goals, allowing us to provide a unique course of study for each. This also means that students progress independently; those are willing to work harder can progress faster and achieve their goals sooner.

Ideal Location in the heart of Portland

Located in the heart of Portland, there are hundreds of restaurants, parks, museums, shops, sports venues, theaters, and department stores just blocks away!

Capstone English Center is located only 3 blocks from the mall where all bus lines terminate in downtown Portland. The MAX light rail passes beneath the windows of our building, and stops less than a block away. The new Portland Trolley line runs just one block away. Half of all public transit lines run through Downtown Portland. This means that students who study here do not need a car to get around as they might in most US cities. Not only is this convenient, but a 300-block area of Downtown is known as Fareless Square, within which travel by public bus and rail is both easy to use and free!

Portland is a diverse city of less than 500,000, located in a metropolitan area of 1.3 million. It is a 90-minute drive from the ocean beaches to the west, and the same distance from mountain ski and snowboarding in the Cascade Mountains to the east. Although Portland and the Pacific Northwest portion of the United States have a reputation as rainy, actually Houston, Texas averages more rain on an annual basis. Portland enjoys a very moderate climate; the average temperature in January is 34F and in July it is 80F.

The Central Library is 2 blocks from school, and one of the largest bookstores in the world is only 6 blocks away.
